- 12 balls Phildar Carnaval (we used colour 105)
- Crochet hook 4mm
- Inner cushion 50 x 50 cm (available at various home furnishing stores)
Pattern Crocheted cushion
Ch 6 and close with a sl st.
Row 1: ch 3 for the first dc, dc 11 in the ring (= 12 sts). End the row with a sl st.
Row 2: ch 3, dc in between 2 dc's of the previous row, ch 1. *Dc 2 in between the next 2 dc's of the previous row, ch 1.* Repeat ** to end. End the row with a sl st.
Row 3: ch 3, dc 2 in between two clusters of the previous row. *Ch 1, dc 3 in between two clusters of the previous row.* Repeat ** to end. End the row with a sl st.
Row 4: ch 3, hdc 1 in between two clusters of the previous row. *Ch 3, hdc in between two clusters.* Repeat ** to end. End the row with a sl st.
Row 5: Use sl st to go to the space in between the hdc's of the previous row, ch 3 for the first dc. Dc 2, ch 2, dc 3 in the space. Dc 3 in the next space. *Dc 3, ch 2, dc 3 in the next space. Dc 3 in the next space.* Repeat ** to end. End the row with a sl st.
Row 6: Use sl st to go to the space in between the clusters of the previous row, ch 3 for the first dc. Dc 2, ch 2, dc 3 in the corner space. Work dc 3 in the other spaces. End the row with a sl st.
Repeat row 6 and bind off.
Make 24 of these hexagons. Crochet the hexagons together. Put them right sides together and sl st along the edges. Always start in a corner and only work in the outer loop, to get a pretty line on the right side of your work. Fold a hexagon over to make a corner. Crochet one of the sides together.
TIP: Crochet as many of the hexagons together as you can before inserting the inner cushion. Close the last hole with needle and thread.
