This scarf made of Rico Essentials Super Chunky is super trendy and comfortably warm. The kind of woven tunisian crochet stitch gives a beautiful structure and feels supple and soft. We've chosen a bright colour, but the yarn is available in 24 different shades. Pick the bright yellow and taupe combination like us, or choose from one of the different colours!

- Crochet hook no. 5mm
Tunisian Chunky Scarf - Free Crochet Pattern
With the tunisian crochet hook 12mm ch. 20
Row 1 (forward pass): Insert in the 2nd ch. From your hook, pull a loop and draw it through the loop. You’ll get 2 loops on your hook. *Insert your hook in het next ch., pull a loop and draw it through the loop on your hook* Repeat from *to* until the end of the row.
Row 2 (reverse pass): Yarn over and draw through 1 loop on your hook, *Yarn over and draw through 2 loops on your hook* Repeat from *to* until the end of the row.
Row 3, (forward pass): Insert your hook in between the vertical bars, yarn over and draw through the loop on your hook. You’ll get 2 loops on your hook. Repeat this for each vertical bar. End with: insert in the last loops of the row, yarn over and draw through the loops on your hook.
Row 4 (reverse pass): Yarn over and draw through 1 loop, *Yarn over and draw through 2 loops on your hook*Repeat from *to* until the end of the row.
Repeat rows 1 – 4. When you’ve finished your yellow balls, start using beige in a forward pass row.
Finishing
Cast on a new yarn of Myriade in a random place on the long side of the scarf with crochet hook 5mm. Work 1 mini puff stitch on each row. In the corners, work 2 mini puff stitches with ch. 3 in between. On the short edge work 1 mini puff stitch in each stitch.
