- Changing colours can best be done when you have 1 loop remaining on your hook. Attach the new colour and pull it tight.

Start with colour Green Ice and the Tunisian crochet hook and ch. 32.
Row 1: Insert your hook through the first ch. from your hook and yarn over. Draw through the stitch and leave the loop on your hook.*Insert your hook in the next ch., yarn over and draw through and leave the loop on your hook*. Repeat from *to* until the end of the row.
Row 2: Yarn over and draw through 1 loop on your hook. *Yarn over and draw through 2 loops on your hook*. Repeat from *to* until you have 1 loop remaining on your hook.
Row 3: Insert in between the 2 vertical strands of 1 vertical bar from the front to the back, yarn over and draw through and leave the loop on your hook. Repeat this for all the sts. Insert for the last st. through the vertical bar and the turning ch. from the forwards pass at the same time for a smooth edge.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you've worked 120 rows or until you run out of yarn.

Cast on a new yarn of byClaire Sparkle Creme with crochet hook no. 6mm on the long edges of the scarf in a random st. Ch. 1, sc. 1 in each st. until you arrive at the end of the long edge.
When arriving at the short edge: *Ch. 16, and go back using sl.st. 1 in each of these ch. Sc. 1 in between the “V” stitch of the scarf.* Repeat from *to* until the end of the short edge. This way each little v shaped stitch on the short edge will get a fringe. When arriving at the long edge sc. 1 in each st. and repeat the above when arriving at the short edge again.
