Scarf on, scarf off! One day you’re scraping ice off your car, the next the sun is shining again! That is why Petra has knit this striped scarf that you can wear all year round. It is made using a yarn that is deliciously warm in the winter, while having a cooling effect in the summer. Ideal for every time of year! Read on for the free knitting pattern...
The extra-long striped scarf is worked up using Shades of Merion Cotton. This yarn consists of a blend of meriono wool and cotton in four thin strands that gradually change colour. The subtle colour palette that Petra has used is easy to coordinate with any wardrobe, but the yarns from Lana Grossa are available in 11 other stunning shades. We’ve already used it to make these beautiful shawls. For this free pattern, we’ve mixed things up by also using Lana Grossa Cool Wool and a glitter thread. This makes the colour gradient stand out even more!
