Crochet the Happy Handmade Bag and support the WWF
Plastic. It is one of our oceans’ greatest pollutants. Did you know that a plastic grocery bag has an average usage time of just 15 minutes, but that it takes 20 years to break down naturally? As a result, this plastic accumulates in the sea and 100,000,000 animals die every year because they become entangled in it, or their stomachs are full of it. The World Wildlife Fund is acting against this ‘plastic soup’, and we would like to do our bit to help.
Therefore, in collaboration with Lisanne Multem of Happy Handmade Living, we are launching the Happy Handmade Bag. This bag helps us battle this ‘plastic soup’ in a couple of ways. Firstly, this crocheted bag is a great alternative to single-use plastic grocery bags. And secondly, Yarnplaza is donating €2,50 to the World Wildlife Fund for every kit or pattern sold (this campaign will run until 31 December 2021). And the added bonus? This bag is a real pleasure to crochet! It’s a win-win-win situation.
