If you have been following Yarn and Colors for a while now, you are sure to have come across their earlier lookbook of wall hangings. While still lovely, these designs are now a bit dated. They therefore decided to give these older versions a makeover and add some brand-new designs to the collection. You can find all the updated wall hangings from Yarn and Colors in their latest Lookbook #28 More Wall Hangings. Browse through them with us!
Yarn and Colors Lookbook #28 More Wall Hangings
As we mentioned in the intro, Yarn and Colors previously released a lookbook full of beautiful wall hangings. However, since then, the yarn brand has grown enormously, and they have added loads of wonderful, new yarns to their yarn range. This means it was high time to update the old wall hangings and add new creations to the collection. Manon, better known as @petit_petite, is an in-house designer at Yarn and Colors and the designer behind these beautiful wall decorations.
For the wall hangings, she used the yarns Epic, Charming, Super Must-Have, Gentle, and Amazing to create the rich textures in each piece. And the best thing about the designs themselves? They are all super easy to make! Let us take you through each one of these gorgeous wall hangings below. You can buy them as a complete kit (including rings, yarn, and pattern) or shop the patterns separately.
All Yarn and Colors Wall Hangings in a row
Yarn and Colors Three is a Charm Wall Hanging 2.0
Let us kick things off with the Three is a Charm Wall Hanging and wow, what a stunner! This is one of the original wall hangings that has undergone a makeover, and the new design has it all: beautiful colors, lots of different textures, plus some crochet. By using three rings layered over each other, you add depth to your work. It is made with various yarns, with Amazing playing the starring role with a particularly magical effect…
Yarn and Colors Degradé Wall Hanging 2.0
The Degradé Wall Hanging is also an old favorite that has been spruced up for the new lookbook. Five different shades are used to create a smooth color gradient sweeping around the ring. We love the ombré effect and how it transforms this wall hanging into a true eyecatcher. The cherry on top is that you can always create your own color palette so that the finished piece fits in seamlessly with the rest of your interior décor. Which colors will you go for?
Yarn and Colors Double Trouble Wall Hanging 2.0
Double Trouble? More like twice the fun! You will be able to enjoy this hanging in no time at all, as it really easy-peasy to make. They have kept the minimalist look of the original pattern from the previous collection, but the different yarn makes it look brand new!
Yarn and Colors Wrapped up Wall Hanging
For the Wrapped Up, Manon opted to combine three different yarns: Gentle, Amazing, and Charming. This, together with the use of three different-sized rings, creates a fun, playful effect. A section of each ring is encased in yarn, extending the design out from the center beautifully. The kits are available in two different colorways, but you can of course unleash your creativity and put together your own, unique colorway.
Yarn and Colors Rainbow in a Hoop Wall Hanging
This rainbow brings a smile to our face. What a beauty! This modern take on the ubiquitous rainbow motif looks fresh and frivolous with the different hues and mix of yarns. The ring measures a generous 40 centimeters in diameter, but you could choose to make a smaller version if that fits in better with the rest of your décor. Are you team Brown or team Pink? Or will you create your very own color combination?
Yarn and Colors Weave it Wall Hanging
Wow! This Weave It wall hanging is one of the most unique designs in the whole lookbook. The Yarn and Colors team has created a piece of art that we simply cannot take our eyes off. Is it braided? Or woven? It may look complicated, but fear not! Like the rest of the collection, this wall hanging is also very easy for beginners to make.
Yarn and Colors Waterfall Wall Hanging
The Waterfall Wall Hanging starts out narrow at the top then flows outwards towards the bottom, just like a waterfall. It is completely up to you what shape to trim the ends into: straight across, diagonally, pointed, or maybe even asymmetrical. The small size of this wall hanging means that you are sure to find a spot for this beauty in your home.
Yarn and Colors More Wall Hangings Pattern Bundle
