Katia Ekos – The most sustainable yarn in the world. That is how Katia has introduced Ekos to us. Katia Ekos was developed by Recover’s Textile Recycling System that aims to reduce our carbon footprint. Ekos is undyed and made without water consumption or chemical products. To recycle and spin each ball, they use 50% solar energy to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Plus, this yarn is made almost entirely from recycled materials: cotton (50%) and polyester made from plastic (47%). Crochet or knit dishcloths, bags, baskets, and all sorts of other accessories.
