Auntie Anke blanket is the next blanket from the design series of Anke Wintermans, better known as Crazy Crochet Catlady. This beautiful floral blanket is inspired by the Gerbera flower and a funny comment from her nephew, who always used to say it when he was little. When he saw Gerberas, he shouted: Aunt Anke flowers!!! This comment will always stay with her. The blanket is made with the mosaic crochet technique and is a challenge with this technique due to its round shapes. So if you love flowers and/or Gerberas in particular, then this nice Auntie Anke blanket with floral pattern might be a challenge for you!
Version 1 is made from 15 balls of Stylecraft Special DK and has a size of 120 x 160 cm.
Version 2 is made from 14 balls of Yarn and Colors Amazing and has a size of 115 x 147 cm.
