This cheerful pattern was created during a holiday of the designer where she was captivated by the beautiful colours:'This summer we camped in Wallis, Switzerland. When we were there I could hardly stop talking about the beautiful colours, especially of all the cheerful flowers in the windows of the old wooden houses. These flowers were the inspiration for this bag and therefore this bag could only be named after this beautiful part of Switzerland.'. A bag design and a cushion design have been made from these lovely cheerful squares (4 x 4 cm)! You can make this Wallis design with a (possibly Tunisian) crochet hook of 4.5 mm. You will also need a needle, scissors and stitch markers. If you make the bag you will also need fabric for an inner lining. If your squares are larger or smaller than 4x4 cm, it is advisable to use a thinner or thicker crochet hook so that you reach 4 cm, otherwise the size of your crochet work may deviate. The final size of this bag is 35 cm wide and 37 cm high (excluding shoulder straps). Is this your next project?
