Bari Scarf Knitting Pattern - Knit this lovely scarf for those cooler summer days. You can never have too many of them Want one? Knitted with Katia's Bari cotton yarn, a variegated yarn that makes it look like you're knitting stripes.

Of course, you want to get started right away, but which color will you choose? The Bari is available in 7 different color combinations. Will you go for a bold color, safe Grey, or denim Blue?

The Bari is no longer part of our product line. As an alternative, we recommend the Yarn and Colors Zen, which comes in a variety of colors. Please note: this is a completely different yarn!

Knitting a Bari Scarf

Dimensions: approx. 85 x 100 cm

Material:
- 4 balls of Katia Bari (100% Cotton). Katia Bari is no longer available. As an alternative, use Yarn and Colors Zen in various colors. For this Scarf, you’ll need about 6 balls of Zen.
- 7mm needle tips and 60cm cable

Yarn and Colors Zen 001 White
Yarn and Colors Zen 009 Limestone
Yarn and Colors Zen 072 Glass
Yarn and Colors Gold Needle Tips, 7 mm

Stitches used:
- Garter stitch (knit all stitches)
- Increase: knit 2 stitches together. Knit 1 stitch, and without removing this stitch, insert the right needle into the same stitch from the back and knit 1 more stitch; then slide the stitch off the left needle.

Bari Scarf Knitting Pattern:

Cast on 3 stitches and knit in garter stitch.

Starting on the 3rd row, begin to increase 1 stitch at the beginning of each row on the right side of the work, until there are a total of 130 stitches. Then loosely bind off all stitches.
