Needle 1: 1 edge stitch, *5 knit stitches, 5 purl stitches. Repeat this pattern from *, ending with 1 edge stitch.
Needle 2: 1 edge stitch, *5 purl stitches, 5 knit stitches. Repeat this pattern from *, ending with 1 edge stitch.
Needle 3: 1 edge stitch, *5 knit stitches, 5 purl stitches. Repeat this pattern from *, ending with 1 edge stitch.
Needle 4: 1 edge stitch, *5 purl stitches, 5 knit stitches. Repeat this pattern from *, ending with 1 edge stitch.
Needle 5: 1 edge stitch, *5 knit stitches, 5 purl stitches. Repeat this pattern from *, ending with 1 edge stitch.
