How to Knit a Trendy Turtleneck Scarf

Knitting a Turtleneck Scarf - Winter is coming, so it’s time to get back to knitting! How about a nice, thick scarf that’s not only warm but also incredibly trendy? We’ll knit this stylish turtleneck scarf using a simple stitch, but the result is stunning. A great project for beginners!

This cowl scarf from Katia Canada is warm, voluminous, and totally on-trend with its neon accents. After all, a subtle touch of neon is totally in style this winter! The scarf is knitted entirely in ribbing using a Circular Knitting Needle. By twisting the ends of the double-layered piece together, the scarf stays nice and full and always keeps its shape. Isn’t that ideal?

Which combination will you choose?

Material:
- 4 balls of Katia Canada, color 10
- 1 ball of Rico Essentials Big, color 25
- Circular Knitting Needles, size 9, 60 cm
- size 7 Crochet Hook
- Stitch Markers

Would you prefer to use a different yarn? Take a look at Lana Grossa Mille II or Katia Big Merino—both are ideal yarns for a lovely scarf like this.

Canada Scarf Knitting Pattern:

Cast on 64 stitches and knit in the 1/1 ribbing pattern in the round. Mark your first stitch on every row.

Knit until the piece measures 75 cm. Bind off the stitches. Twist the piece you've made and join the ends together.

Take the Essentials big yarn and crochet the ends together with slip stitches. The stitches will lie on top of the join. On both sides of the row of slip stitches, crochet another row of single crochets.

And there you have it—the neck scarf is finished! Enjoy it!
