This beautiful scarf is made with just one ball of Lang Yarns Young Merino Wool. This is one of the most comfortable materials to work with and to wear! The wool is super soft, doesn’t itch, and adapts to the temperature. It’s no wonder that Merino Wool is often used in sportswear. So you can wear this wool cowl scarf with your favorite winter coat, but it’ll also make you stand out when you’re hitting the slopes, for example!
Since the yarn is already so special on its own, you’ll have it finished in no time! For this pattern, we used the stockinette stitch with size 20 Knitting Needles. This stitch creates lovely ridges in the scarf that really make the colors pop. In the skein we chose, red and pink alternate with green accents. But every single Young ball in our collection features a beautiful color gradient.
