Knit Collage has a bit of a multicultural flair. The yarns consist of wool from Australia, mohair from South Africa, and Angelina fiber in a wide range of sparkles and colors from the U.S. You can imagine that we just had to bring these gems of wool to the Netherlands. Every ball of yarn holds a surprise. You can easily add a unique twist to your handmade creations. The Story Behind the Thread
Knit Collage is the creative brainchild of Amy Small. Amy draws inspiration from the many countries she visits, particularly Hong Kong and India. The American designer is constantly on the lookout for new additions to her collection. These might include fabrics from the ancient Indian city of Jaipur, or lace embellishments used in Indian wedding garments. These little extras give each yarn its own story.

Gyspy Garden is inspired by the bustling markets of Hong Kong. Ribbons, threads, glitter, and flowers are woven into this special yarn. Only the highest-quality Australian wool was used to make this yarn.
Pixie Dust is a super-thick yarn with a cocoon-like texture. It’s soft, fluffy, and magical thanks to the glitter threads spun right into it. This yarn is perfect for home decor and accessories like scarves or cowls.
Daisy Chain is inspired by a chain of daisies. Pieces of lace, hand-printed Jaipur fabrics, and daisy ribbon have been spun into this yarn. And of course, it wouldn’t be complete without some glitter threads.
Inspiration
