As if all the inspiration from these colorful projects weren't enough, Marianne also has a fun giveaway! She crocheted no fewer than four pin cushions for us to give away. Plus, there are two "scrap hearts" that we're raffling off—cool, right?

Felted pillowcase
Saskia tells us all about this felted pillowcase! It’s felted in black and white, and of course, it features the colorful “Sas” border. The top is loosely crocheted in single crochets and then felted. It sounds exciting, but nothing could be further from the truth! You just have to keep in mind that your work will shrink by about 30%. Finish it off with a border and some fringe, and voilà—your felted (pimped?) Cushion is ready!

Petra is knitting a real beach chair! It’s a fun project for the summer, and the combination of the yarn and the stitch creates a summery yet sturdy look. Petra uses the braid stitch, where you alternate between stitching from the front and the back to create a braided pattern. Of course, she’ll show you exactly how to do it!

Coffee & Wool Knitted Scarf

The Coffee and Wool Stekens Scarf is almost finished! Well, at least the last few rows are being added, and from now on, these 19 rows will be repeated. Next week, Saskia will show off the entire scarf—and of course, she’s finished it off with a border and cheerful fringe. So exciting!
