Tapestry Crocheted Tablet Case with Polka Dots
Saskia is trying out the tapestry technique and crocheting a cheerful tablet case. "I'd already noticed that you can make any shape and that the crochet work turns out nice and sturdy. Perfect for a case for your phone or tablet!"
To master the technique, Saskia starts with a fairly simple Crochet Pattern.

Tips & Tricks: Crocheting Tapestry
Fun fact: When crocheting with the tapestry stitch, you pull the extra thread(s) through under your stitches. You change colors at the end of the stitch, just before you’re ready to slip both loops off the hook. You then slip the loops off with the new color.
Tip: To keep your stitches nice and tight when changing colors, pull the current color of yarn forward slightly to secure the stitch. You can then use the new color to pull through the two loops.
Tip: Do you want to make the case bigger or smaller? If so, make sure the number of cast-on stitches is a multiple of 7 minus 2. For example: 12, 54, 68, etc.
Is the tapestry technique still a little unclear? Check out the photo tutorial on tapestry crochet.
