Tools & Supplies for Knitting a Heart-Shaped Cushion
- 3 balls of Katia Maxi Merino in color 38, or 3/4 balls of Yarn and Colors Cheerful, or 3 balls of Yarn and Colors Happy
- 6mm Knitting Needles
- Inner cushion 50 x 50 cm
Stitches used:
"Mother's Day Cushion Knitting" Pattern
Dimensions: 50 x 50 cm
Cast on 65 stitches. Then knit 90 rows in stockinette stitch.
Then knit 1 row of garter stitch (right side) with 1 stitch.
Continue to knit in stockinette stitch for another 5 rows.
Then you can start knitting the heart. Knit all the light-colored squares in seed stitch.
When you're done with the heart using 4 rows of garter stitch, you'll start binding off.
Sew the sides together with a needle and thread, and crochet the top closed using single crochets.
