Celebrate Socktober with Carmen Jorissen (New Leaf Designs) - A portfolio full of sock inspiration
This beautiful kit is packed with everything you need to get started with Scheepjes Arcadia: a durable Sock Yarn that not only looks fantastic but also feels wonderful to wear.
The Pattern Portfolio was developed in collaboration with Carmen Jorissen of New Leaf Designs, known for her modern Knitting Patterns and easy-to-follow tutorials. The Portfolio includes two complete sock patterns:
- One for the toe-to-leg method
- One for leg-to-toe knitters
In addition, the portfolio includes 11 jacquard patterns that can be used with both methods. Convenient QR codes take you directly to video tutorials in which Carmen explains the process step by step—ideal if you want to try a new idea or improve your technique.
Part 1 of the portfolio is an inspiring lookbook featuring atmospheric photos of 11 jacquard-knit socks. From subtle patterns to cheerful, colorful designs, each pair has its own unique character.

Getting Started with Scheepjes Arcadia Sock Yarn
