Diamond Stitch Knitting - Stitch of the Month

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend! Or are you secretly more into yarn? Yarnplaza is expanding its—and your—stitch library with a new knitting technique: the diamond stitch. This stitch looks just as high-class as it sounds. With the “Stitch of the Month,” you’ll go from a rough diamond to a brilliant knitter.

It’s May again, which means it’s time for a new “Stitch of the Month.” This time, we’re taking a closer look at the diamond stitch. It’s one of our favorite stitches. That’s because it’s easy to knit, but it definitely doesn’t look simple. The stitch gets its name from the angular bumps that form in your knitting. All these little diamonds come together to form a bold texture, which is perfect for making a throw blanket or decorative pillow.
