Beach Bag Knitting Pattern:

The bag is knitted on a Circular Knitting Needle. Knitting only knit stitches creates the stockinette stitch.

Knit all rows until the bottom is finished.

Cast on 8 stitches using color 519 apple green, and join them to form a ring.
Row 1: Knit 8 stitches.
2nd row: *knit 1, increase the 2nd stitch*, repeat from * to * = 12 stitches
3rd row: double all stitches = 24 stitches
4th row: knit all stitches
5th row: *knit 2 stitches, increase the 3rd stitch*, repeat from * to * = 32 stitches
6th row: knit all stitches
7th row: *knit 3 stitches, increase on the 4th stitch*, repeat from * to * = 40 stitches
Row 8: Knit all stitches
9th row: *knit 4 stitches, increase on the 5th stitch* repeat from *to* = 48 stitches
Row 10: Knit all stitches
Row 11: *Knit 5 stitches, increase on the 6th stitch*; repeat from * to * = 56 stitches
Continue knitting the bottom: on every even row, knit all stitches. On every odd row, double one stitch 8 times; this will be the 7th stitch on row 13, the 8th stitch on row 15, the 9th stitch on row 17, and so on. Continue until row 45, at which point there will be 200 stitches in total.

Row 46: Purl 1 row.
Continue to knit in stockinette stitch.
Row 56: *Knit 23 stitches, knit 2 stitches together*, repeat from * to * 7 times = 192 stitches
Row 61: *Knit 22 stitches, knit 2 stitches together*, repeat from * to * 7 times = 184 stitches
Row 63: Change colors; continue with Grey (color 515)
Row 73: *Knit 21 stitches, knit 2 stitches together*, repeat from * to * 7 times = 176 stitches
Row 83: Change color *knit 20 stitches, knit 2 stitches together*, repeat from * to * 7 times = 168 stitches
Row 87: Change to Khaki (color 529)
Row 111: Change to off-white (color 509)
Row 132: Knit 23 stitches, knit 2 stitches together, knit 34 stitches, knit 2 stitches together, knit 46 stitches, knit 2 stitches together, knit 34 stitches, knit 2 stitches together, knit 23 stitches.
Row 133: Knit all stitches, then cast on 1 stitch 4 times above the stitches knitted together on the previous row

Knit 2 more rows, then bind off the 168 stitches.

Finishing: Crochet the lobster stitch as a finishing border

Handle:
Cut 8 strands of yarn, each 2 m long. 4 in Khaki and 4 in Grey.

Twist these threads tightly around each other, take a pair of scissors, and thread the twisted string through one of the scissors’ blades. Hold both ends of the string and let the scissors hang in the middle. The string will now twist together. Take another pair of scissors, cut the string at the scissors, and tie a button at both ends.

Pull one end of the cord through one opening until it reaches the button (from the outside to the inside), thread the other end back through the other opening (from the inside to the outside), decide how long you want the handle to be, and tie a button at the desired length.

Do the same for the other handle.
