Knit a cardigan using the same basic pattern
Our basic cardigans all look very different, but at their core, they’re all the same. All you have to do to create a completely different cardigan is switch up the yarn and your Knitting Needles! By doing this and playing around with different colors and patterns, you’ll conjure up a new work of art with your Knitting Needles every time. Isn’t that great? This also means that once you’ve made one of these six cardigans, you can reuse the pattern for a new creation. We’re really curious to see what you’ll do with this beautiful pattern! Below are our inspiration kits to help you get started.
Knitting a Super Amazing Cardigan
Using Yarn and Colors Super Amazing yarn and 4.5- and 5-mm Knitting Needles, you can knit this cheerful, colorful striped cardigan. The color combination is perfect for spring when it’s still a bit chilly—so you can stay nice and warm while looking cheerful too!
Knitting the Chunky Amazing Cardigan
With this kit, you’ll knit a wonderfully thick cardigan in vibrant colors using Yarn and Colors Chunky Amazing yarn. You’ll use the ribbing, stockinette stitch, and garter stitch. Grab your Knitting Needles and get started right away!
Knitting the Happy & Glamour Cardigan
A lovely basic cardigan with an elegant touch. This cardigan is knitted in cream, but adding a bit of Yarn and Colors Glamour makes it much more elegant. Grab your 5- and 6-mm Knitting Needles and knit this gorgeous piece yourself!
Knitting the Joy Cardigan
This cardigan, made from Yarn and Colors Joy, also features a single base color. Just like the Happy & Glamour cardigan, this one is also jazzed up a bit with a gorgeous silver glitter thread. This cardigan is perfect for parties and other festive occasions—are you going to knit one, too?
Knitting an Amazing Cardigan
We’ve also created a ready-to-knit Knitting Kit for the Yarn and Colors Amazing yarn, featuring an example of what you can make with this pattern. This cardigan is brightly colored with striped sleeves in brown and white. You’ll use the ribbing and the garter stitch.
Knitting a Furry Cardigan
For a warm and cozy cardigan, look no further than this one made with Yarn and Colors Furry yarn. The Furry yarn makes it nice and thick—and, of course, very soft and cuddly. With 9- and 10-mm Knitting Needles and some knowledge of ribbing, you can knit this cardigan yourself!
