Crochet a Silk Summer Scarf with Knit Collage

Crochet this summery scarf with Knit Collage. Can you ever get enough of scarves? We love them, and we have a summery version! This design, featuring silk yarn and a glitter effect, is a must-have for your collection. Read on here for the free pattern.

This summer scarf is crocheted with Maharani Silk by Knit Collage. This silk yarn is perfect for summer and gives the scarf a luxurious look. The thin Lurex glitter thread woven into the yarn adds the perfect finishing touch to both the ball and your project. The picot edging gives the scarf a “golden” border.

Worldly Yarns by Knit Collage
There’s a story behind every Knit Collage yarn. Amy Small, the American founder of the brand, draws her inspiration from her travels. In particular, influences from India and Hong Kong are clearly evident in the balls, and the vibrant, hand-spun creations reflect her curious and optimistic view of the world.
Knit Collage’s balls of yarn are spun with the utmost care. It takes at least two hours to spin a single skein of yarn. The spinning takes place in India, where jobs are created for unskilled women. So with Knit Collage, you’re not just holding a ball of yarn—you’re holding a global yarn with a story behind it.
