We’re kicking off the new year with a look back at December. Time really flew by! With the Advent CAL, we crocheted a little pattern every day to count down to Christmas. Saskia and Petra also made a cozy winter project. Enjoy this nice, long episode and discover our New Year’s resolutions!
Petra knitted a beautiful shawl for the winter. The light and airy Rico Essentials Alpaca Blend yarn turned out to be perfect for the project. In addition to its beautiful, soft colors, it’s also wonderfully warm. Thanks to its simplicity, the scarf is an ideal piece to pair with anything.

Advent Star
Annemarie and Monique made the Advent CAL in December. For twenty-four days, each day of December was filled with little patterns to use to fill in the star. It was a surprise and a treat (!) every day to see the crocheted ornaments appear.
This month, Saskia crocheted a colorful cowl. She made the “colorful” border using Lana Grossa Peppina, and the single twist in the cowl creates a playful effect. The scarf is made from Lana Grossa Lala Berlin Softness and is both a warm and trendy item for winter.
