Right now, you can already find a wide selection of Scheepjes yarns on Yarnplaza. Every week, we’ll continue to expand this selection with new Scheepjes yarns and new Scheepjes kits. You can see the yarns that are available starting today below the image.
The Yarns
- Scheepjes Catona 50-gram and 25-gram balls: a ball of 100% mercerized cotton with a slight sheen. This type of yarn is gentle on sensitive skin, making it perfect for baby clothes and toys.
- Scheepjes Colour Crafter. A lovely ball of 100% Acrylic yarn with a silky-soft sheen. The large balls are ideal for making Home Accessories and retain their beauty for a long time.
- Scheepjes Stone Washed and Stone Washed XL. This yarn gives your project a rugged look and is made of 78% Cotton and 22% Acrylic.
- Scheepjes River Washed has all the characteristics of Stone Washed, but its color is slightly more intense, making your project stand out even more!
- Scheepjes Softfun. The breathable qualities of cotton, combined with the light weight of Acrylic, make this yarn ideal for all kinds of clothing, as well as cuddly toys and accessories. With Softfun, the possibilities are endless.
- Scheepjes Organicon is the sustainable choice you’ll want to use in your project. The yarn is made from 100% natural cotton and feels wonderfully soft and light against the skin. This makes it ideal for all kinds of clothing and baby items.
- Scheepjes Whirl. A ball of Whirl is a delight to look at thanks to its beautiful mottled color gradient. The combination of 60% Cotton and 40% Acrylic makes this yarn perfect for light and airy projects. It drapes softly and smoothly, making it ideal for a scarf or shawl.
- Scheepjes Whirlette. Whirlette is the solid-color version of the Whirl. Each color is coordinated with the starting or ending color of the Whirl, making them perfect for combining. But this generous ball is also beautiful on its own.
- Scheepjes Wanderlust. As the name suggests, this is an adventurous yarn. This 100% Acrylic ball features multiple colors, is soft, and has a slight sheen.
- Scheepjes Softy. Want to make a soft cuddly toy or cuddly baby clothes? Then this is the yarn for you. The strands of this yarn are soft, light, and thin, making it easy to crochet or knit cuddly toys. Softy is made of 75% polyester and 25% nylon.
- Scheepjes Chunky Monkey. A yarn made from 100% Acrylic. It has a nice, thick strand, making it well-suited for larger projects such as Blankets, large Cardigans, or Scarves. The very best thing about this yarn is that it has been treated to prevent pilling.
Full of inspiration
At Scheepjeswol, they not only have top-quality yarns, but also plenty of inspiration for the most beautiful projects. For example, they have fun patterns that you can download via the Scheepjeswol account on Ravelry. These patterns are available in print at the Inspiration Center. New patterns are added every month. For example, “Yarn The After Party” takes place twice a month. A monthly magazine called “Klein maar Fijn” is also published. Here you’ll find three patterns for the littlest ones.
