Free Pineapple Stitch Pattern
For this stitch, your number of stitches must be divisible by 2, plus 2 for the cast-on chain.
*Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop* Repeat *-* 3 more times in the same stitch. Yarn over and pull through the first 8 loops on the Crochet Hook, yarn over, and pull through the last 2 loops on the Crochet Hook.
Start with a chain of 16 ch., +2. For a total of 18 ch.

Round 1: 1 pineapple stitch in the 4th ch. from the Crochet Hook, 1 ch., skip 1 ch., *1 pineapple stitch in the next ch., 1 ch., skip 1 ch.* Repeat from * to *. End with 1 sl st.
Row 2: 3 ch. (= 1 st.), *pineapple stitch in the next ch. opening, 1 ch.* Repeat from * to *. End with 1 st. in the top of the 3 ch.
From here on, repeat Row 2.
