Crochet Pattern for a Pimped-Out Blanket

Saskia is back to crocheting and upcycling, and she's sprucing up this little fleece blanket.
Sometimes you just want instant results. In that case, you can buy a fleece blanket in no time, and you can start customizing it right away!
This border measures 130 cm.

Material:

Use the existing holes in the blanket; often, a border has been machine-stitched, and you can usually make good use of those holes. If desired, enlarge the holes with a thick (crochet) hook.

In this pattern, the chain stitches do not count as stitches; they are used only to create height for the rest of the stitches in the row.

Crochet Pattern for the border:
Row 1: 1 chain stitch, *single crochets, 7 chain stitches, skip 3 cm. Repeat from *. 43 arcs in total. Turn your work.
Row 2: slip stitch into the first 2 loops of the first arch, chain 1, *single crochet, chain 5, single crochet, chain 2, move to the next arch. Repeat from * 41 times. In the last arch: single crochet, chain 5, single crochet. Turn your work.
Row 3: 1 chain stitch. In the first arch: *6x(treble crochet, chain stitch), treble crochet, 2 chain stitches. Next arch: 3 single crochets, 2 chain stitches, 3 single crochets, 2 chain stitches. Move to the next arch. Repeat from * 41 times. In the last arch, crochet 6x(treble crochet, chain stitch), treble crochet. Turn your work.
Row 4: 1 chain stitch. *In the chain spaces between the treble crochets from Row 3: 6x (single crochet, 3 chain stitches, skip a stitch, single crochet), skip 4 stitches, (2 chain stitches, single crochet, 2 chain stitches). Repeat from * 41 times. Between the treble crochets from Round 3: 6x (single crochet, 3 chain stitches, skip a stitch, single crochet). Fasten off.
