A Variation on the Lazy Girl Stitch
A fun variation on the Lazy Girl Stitch is the knit-purl or ribbing variation. This one is a little trickier, but still perfectly doable for beginner knitters.
Right-backward / ribbing
- Even number of stitches;
- First row: Knit in ribbing (knit 1, purl 1) and make an extra yarn over for each stitch;
- Second row: Knit ribbing (knit 1, purl 1), but knit the first loop and let the second loop slip off.
Good luck, and have fun knitting!
