Tools & Supplies:
Yarn and Colors, Happy, antique pink (48)
6 mm Crochet Hook.
With this loop stitch, the number of stitches doesn't matter; you just crochet 1 additional chain stitch to the starting chain to turn the work.
Loop Stitch
Insert your Crochet Hook into the stitch, place the yarn over your left finger, lift your finger up slightly (about 2 cm) so that you have a loop of yarn in front of and behind your finger. Now move your Crochet Hook to the right, past the yarn, pick up the back loop, and pull it through the stitch. Yarn over and pull through the 2 loops on your Crochet Hook, then let the loop slide off your index finger.

Start with a chain of 16 ch. +1. For a total of 17 ch.
Row 1: Start in the 2nd ch. from the Crochet Hook and work 16 sc.
Round 2: Crochet 1 chain stitch in each stitch. End with 1 chain stitch.
3rd round: 16 sts, 1 rep.
Repeat rows 2 and 3, alternating between them.
Have fun with the loop stitch!
