Tips and Tricks for Making a Wall Hanging
When doing weaving for a wall hanging, you can create endless combinations. You can experiment with different stitches, colors, and types of yarn. The best part, of course, is that you can make it exactly the way you want. Here are some tips for making your wall hanging.
- Phildar Phil Coton 2 is an excellent yarn for making your chain stitches
- It's better to cut your working threads a little too long than too short
- Choose yarns of different thicknesses for a playful effect
- Vary your stitches and don't be afraid to experiment on your own
- Fringes and pom-poms add the finishing touch to your wall hanging
- Trim the fringes into any shape you like: straight, pointed, or wavy!
