The Knitting STAR

Following the success of previous seasons of Haakster, in 2022 we set out to find the very first BreiSTER! In BreiSTER, 10 contestants compete for the honorary title of “De BreiSTER”! The first season has now wrapped up, but you can watch all the episodes at your own pace. Over 12 episodes, the contestants take you on a knitting adventure. That adventure involves designing a new Knitting Pattern, lots of knitting, writing out the patterns, and then beautifully photographing their creations. Each episode is hosted by Petra, the owner of Yarnplaza. Curious to see how Bernadette, Evelien, Inge, Ingrid, Irma, Linda, Michelle, Nicole, Robert, and Tessa will do? Knitting Projects

Each knitting challenge has a different theme, and it’s up to the contestants to interpret it as creatively as possible. The Yarnplaza jury evaluates the knitted creations and decides who, unfortunately, will be eliminated. Each challenge results in new and beautiful creations! The patterns are available for download in our online store.
