Yarnplaza.com Gift Card Information & Terms and Conditions

In addition to our Terms and Conditions, these Gift Card terms and conditions apply to Gift Cards issued by Yarnplaza.com b.v. (“Yarnplaza.com”). By using a Yarnplaza.com Gift Card, you accept these Gift Card terms and conditions and agree to comply with them.

1. These terms and conditions apply to all Gift Cards issued by Yarnplaza.com (including electronic and printed Gift Cards, paper Gift Cards, and Gift Cards) (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Gift Cards”) that are sold by Yarnplaza.com and by third parties designated by Yarnplaza.com.

2. Each Gift Card has a unique code. This may be a numeric code and/or a PIN and/or a text code. Each Gift Card is issued only once. You must keep the Gift Card (including the code) in a safe place. In the event of theft (including unauthorized use of the code by third parties) or loss (including the (accidental) deletion of emails), no reimbursement will be provided. Only original Gift Cards and codes may be used and must be provided to Yarnplaza.com upon request. Yarnplaza.com reserves the right to accept a Gift Card only after receiving the original Gift Card (in the case of an electronic Gift Card, the email sent to you by Yarnplaza.com or a third party designated by Yarnplaza.com that contains the code) and to demand payment in cash in the event of improper use. If a Gift Card was purchased from a third party, you must carefully retain the receipt and the top-up voucher and present them to Yarnplaza.com upon request.

3. To use a Gift Card, add the products you’ve selected to your “shopping cart.” For physical Gift Cards, enter the exact code in the “Promo Code” field during checkout. For digital Gift Cards, enter the exact code in the “Coupon Code” field in the shopping cart.

4. The nature, value, duration, expiration date, and/or any other specific terms of use can be found on the Gift Cards and/or in the communication (email) containing the code. Each Gift Card is valid for a specific period. The Gift Card can no longer be used after the expiration date.

5. Gift Cards issued by Yarnplaza.com and/or by third parties designated by Yarnplaza.com may only be redeemed for purchases made through the online store at www.wolplein.nl.

6. Gift Cards cannot be used for outstanding orders.

7. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

8. If the total amount of the order exceeds the value of the Gift Card(s) used, the difference must be paid using one of the other payment methods: iDEAL, PayPal, or bank transfer.

9. In the event of a refund, you will receive a Gift Card for the same amount you used to pay for your order.

10. You may not alter, forge, undermine, or otherwise tamper with Gift Cards or their functionality (including through hacking).

11. Any (attempted) fraud or other unauthorized action will be recorded and will result in the user being barred from using Gift Cards.

12. Gift Cards may not be used in any way for commercial purposes and/or for purposes other than those for which they were issued.

13. These Gift Card terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time. We recommend that you review the Gift Card terms and conditions each time before using a Gift Card. If you continue to use Gift Cards after the changes take effect, you thereby accept the amended Gift Card terms and conditions.
