Only Cotton Wrap - Free Crochet Pattern
The first dc. of each row consists of 3 ch.
Ch. 5 and sl.st. 1 in the first ch. to make a ring.
Row 1: Ch. 3 (= 1 dc.) and dc. 6 in the ring = 7 sts.
Row 2: Tch. 4 (= 1 trc.) and dc. 2 in the last st. of the previous row. Dc. 1, dc. 1, dc. 3 in the next st., dc. 1, dc. 1 and trc. 1 in the upper ch. of the previous row = 13 sts.
Row 3: Tch. 2 (= 1 dc.), dc. 1 in the last st. of the previous row. Dc. 1 in the next 5 sts., dc. 3 in the same st., dc. 1 in the next 5 sts. and dc. 2 in the upper ch. of the previous row = 17 sts.
Row 4: Tch. 4 (= 1 trc.), dc. 2 in the last dc. of the previous row. Dc. 1 in the next 7 sts., dc. 3 in the same st., dc. 1 in the next 7 sts., and dc. 2, trc. 1 in the upper ch. of the last st. of the previous row = 23 sts.
Work according to the same logic until you've crocheted 29 rows. You'll get 147 sts.
Row 30: Work Bundle sts. Tch. 3 and ch. 2, bundle st. 1 in the second st. At the end of the row end with bundle st. 1 in the second last st., ch. 2 and dc. 1 in the upper ch. of the previous row.
For the point (where you work 3 dc. each row) ch. 2, bundle st. 1 and ch. 2 = 151 sts.
Continue in the basis pattern like you did for rows 1 to 29. Start row row 31 with tch. 4 (= 1 trc.) and dc. 2 in the last st. of the previous row. Work the dc. in the ch. space in between the bundle sts. At the end of the row end with dc. 1 and trc. 1 in the upper ch. of the previous row = 157 sts.
After 49 rows you've got 257 st. Work 2 rows of bundle st., whereby you the work the increases for the first bundle st. the same way as for row 30. = 261 sts.
Start the second row of bundle st. with tch. 4 (= trc. 1), dc. 2 in the last st. of the previous row. Then alternate ch. 1 and bundle st. 1 in the sts. of the previous row, end with ch. 1, dc. 2 and trc. 1 in the upper ch. of the dc. of the previous row.
Finishing the wrap:
If you want to you can vaporise the wrap such that it gets a tight shape. Work 2 rounds of sc. around the sides. Place a fringe at the top of each bundle st. of row 30. Cut 4 yarns of 22 cm long for eacht fringe. After attaching the fringes cut them at a desired length.
