Want to make some super cute Amigurumi animals? Join the Zoo CAL!

When the weekend rolls around, we love to get out and about with the kids. The playground, swimming, a walk in the woods, and finishing off with a table for four at the pancake house. A trip to the zoo is also a favorite for many. To save you the hassle of spreading cheese or chocolate sprinkles on a big bag of bread rolls, dealing with high admission prices, and waiting in line for the monkey enclosure, we’re bringing the whole menagerie right to your home with a new Amigurumi CAL!

Starting May 20, we’re kicking off the super fun free Zoo Amigurumi CAL, designed by our designer Annemarie Arts! Have you always wanted to have a giraffe or a crocodile at home? Then this CAL is perfect for you! For six weeks, a pattern for one animal will be shared on this blog every Wednesday. That way, after six weeks, you’ll have a colorful collection of six super-cute animals at home. How fun is that?!

The Animal Gang

So who are these cute animals? Let me introduce you to Levi the Lion, Olaf the Elephant, Ijvy the Polar Bear, Koko the Crocodile, Alvin the Monkey, and Gina the Giraffe!

Crochet Kit

To help you get off to a flying start, we’ve put together a Zoo Crochet Kit for you. After all, a good start is half the battle! ;) In this kit, you’ll find six different balls of Yarn and Colors Must-Have, four balls of Must-Have minis, six snap hooks, and six pairs of 6-mm black Safety Eyes. Order here!

All you need for this CAL is a 2mm Crochet Hook, 250 grams of Panda stuffing, and safety pins.

And to make sure the animals are well taken care of right away, we’ve created a fun coloring page. You can download it for free. That way, Mom can crochet while the kids color. We call that a win-win situation! ;)
