Tools & Supplies

- Leftover black yarn for the eyes, or 6mm safety eyes.

: Crochet 6 sc into a magic ring (light pink)
Row 1: Double all sts (12 sts)

Stuff it, fold the body in half, and crochet 15 single crochets to close the body.
Leg (2x)
Crochet 6 sc into a magic ring. (Grey)
Row 1: Double everything (12 sts)
Row 2: *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* rep.*-* (18 sc)
Row 3: *2 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* rep.*-* (24 sc)
Rows 4–5: 24 sts.
Row 6: 8 sc, crochet 4 sets of 2 sc together, 8 sc (20 sc)
Row 7: 20 sts.
Row 8: 8 sc, crochet 2 sc together 2 times, 8 sc (18 sc)
Row 9: 18 sts.
Row 10: 8 sc, crochet 2 sc together, 8 sc (17 sc)
Rows 11 through 17: 17 sts. Fill in the heel.
Row 18: 17 sts in the back loops.
Row 19: 17 sts in the back loops. Change colors. (pink)
Rows 20 through 36: 17 sts.
Stuff it, fold the leg in half, and crochet it closed with 8 single crochets.
Boot cuff (2x)
Attach a yarn end at row 18 and crochet 17 single crochets into the top loops. (Grey)
Row 2: 2 sc, *2 sc in next st, 2 sc*; repeat from * to * (22 sc)
Row 3: *2 sc, 2 sc in next st.* Repeat from * to *, ending with 1 sc (29 sc)
Rows 4–5: 29 sts.
Pants
: Attach a strand of yarn at row 19 and crochet 17 sts into the top loops. (Green)
Row 1: 2 sc, *2 sc in next st, 2 sc*; repeat from * to * (22 sc)
Rows 2 through 18: 22 sts.
Weave off. Do the same for the other leg.
Attach a green thread to the back of one leg at the top of the Green section. Start crocheting; as soon as you reach the inside of the leg (leave 2 sts unworked on the inside), place the two legs together and continue crocheting on the other leg. Do the same on the front. Crochet about 40 v in this manner. At the inside of the legs, leave 2 sts unworked on each leg.
Row 2: 40 sts.
First, attach the pink part of the legs to the torso.
Rows 3 through 10: 40 sts.
Fill the pants out a little and single crochet them to the torso.
Chain (2)
Crochet 6 single crochets into a magic ring (light pink)
Row 1: Double everything (12 sts)
Rows 2 through 4: 12 sts.
Row 5: Crochet the last 2 sts together (11 sc)
Row 6: Crochet the last 2 sts together (10 sc)
Row 7: Crochet the last 2 sts together (9 sc). Change colors (Blue)
Row 8: 9 sts in the back loops.
Rows 9 through 19: 9 sts.
Row 20: 1 sc, *crochet 2 sc together* repeat from * to * (5 sc)
Fasten off and pull the yarn through the last stitch to close the sleeve.
Sleeve Cuff (2x)
Attach a strand of yarn on row 8 and crochet 9 single crochets into the top loops (Blue)
Row 2: *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* Repeat *-* (13 sc)
Row 3: *2 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* Repeat from * to *, ending with 1 sc (17 sc)
Row 4: 17 sts.
Stitch it up.
Attach the arms to the body.
Headscarf
: Crochet 6 dc into a magic ring. (orange)
Row 1: Double everything (12 sts)
Row 2: *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* Repeat *-* (18 sc)
Row 3: *2 sc, 2 sc in next st.* Repeat *-* (24 sc)
Row 4: *3 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* Repeat *-* (30 sc)
Row 5: *4 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* Repeat from * to * (36 sc)
Row 6: *5 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* Repeat *-* (42 sc)
Row 7: *6 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* Repeat from * to * (48 sc)
Rows 8 through 11: 48 sts.
Row 12: 48 sts; after the 48th st, work 1 decrease, then turn.
Rows 13–14: 48 sts. Work 1 row, turn, so that you have a split.
Row 15: K2, 1 purl, turn.
Rows 16 through 31: K2.
Row 32: Knit 2 together. Bind off.
On the other side of the split, make the same strap with 2 sts.
Waistband
: Crochet a chain 50 sts and 1 slip stitch (orange)
Rows 1 through 3: 50 sts.
Row 4: 40 sc, 4 ch, 3 sts skipped, 7 sc
Row 5: 50 sts, including 3 sts in the opening of the 4 ch.
Rows 6–7: 50 sts.
Stitch it up.
Place the strap around your waist and pull the end through the opening from back to front.
Secure the strap.
Eyes
: Using the leftover black yarn, make 2 eyes by placing a couple of knots on top of each other.
Attach the eyelets to the center of the head, spacing them about 3 cm apart.

Neusje
Crochet Hook No. 4 in a magic ring (light pink)
Row 1: *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* Repeat *-* (6 sc)
Attach the nose just below the eyes.
Hair
: Embroider the hair onto the head. To do this, place the headscarf on the head for a moment so you can see where to start embroidering. (lime green)
Eye Patch
: Crochet a chain of 2 sts and 1 slip stitch (Turquoise)
Row 1: Double everything (4 sts)
Row 2: Double the last stitch. (5 sts)
Row 3: 5 sts.
Row 4: Crochet the first and last stitches together (3 sc)
Chain 20 stitches on each side and attach the patch to the head.
Cardigan
: Crochet a chain 27 sts and 1 slip stitch (Brown)
Rows 1–2: 27 sts.
Row 3: Crochet the first and last sts together (25 sc)
Row 4: 25 sts.
Row 5: Crochet the first and last sts together (23 sc)
Round 6: 23 sts.
Row 7: Crochet the first and last sts together (21 sc)
Row 8: 21 sts.
Row 9: Crochet the first and last sts together (19 sc)
Row 10: 19 sts.
Row 11: Crochet the first and last sts together (17 sc)
Round 12: 17 sts.
Row 13: Crochet 2 sc together twice, 9 sc, crochet 2 sc together twice (13 sc)
Round 14: 13 sts.
Row 15: Crochet 2 sc together twice, 5 sc, crochet 2 sc together twice (9 sc)
Row 16: 9 sts.
Rows 17–19: K2.
Row 20: Double the first and last sts (4 sts)
Row 21: 4 sts.
Row 22: Double the first and last stitches (6 sts)

Row 40: Crochet 2 sts together. Fasten off.
Make another front panel on the other side. Start at row 17.
Sew the side seams of the cardigan closed, leaving an opening for the armhole.
Sword
Clasp 8 v. to form a ring. (Grey)
Rows 1 through 5: 8 sts.
Row 6: 7 sc, double the last st. (9 sc)
Row 7: 9 sts.
Row 8: 8 sc, double the last st (10 sc)
Row 9: 10 sts.
Row 10: 8 sc, crochet the last 2 sts together. (9 sc)
Row 11: 7 sc, crochet the last 2 sts together. (8 sc)
Row 12: 6 sc, crochet the last 2 sts together. (7 sc)

Sword
pommel: Crochet a chain of 4 sts (lime green)
Row 1: Start in the 2nd ch. from your Crochet Hook, 2 dc., 2 dc. in the last st. Continue working on the other side of the chain and crochet 2 dc., 2 dc. in the last ch. (8 dc.)
Row 2: *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* Repeat *-* (18 sc)
Handle
: Crochet 5 stitches into a magic ring. (Salmon)
Rows 1 through 5: 5 sts.
Now assemble all three parts of the sword and attach it to the hand.
