Last Saturday (September 23, 2023), we hosted the Amigurumi Festival at our inspiration center in Zaltbommel, with a “Safari” theme. We thoroughly enjoyed all the festivities and the positive feedback on the safari animals and the event. We’re not quite ready to say goodbye just yet, so let’s take a moment to look back at the adorable safari animals and their designers!
The Safari Animals and Their Designers
Of course, we’d like to give a special shout-out to the seven designers who created these fantastic little creatures and who were on hand all day during the Amigurumi Festival to answer all your questions and show off their creations. We asked a few of the designers what they thought of the day and are highlighting their little creatures once again.
Jungle Monkey: Imke - @creimtions
This cheerful little monkey is equipped with a hat and a bag so he can head into the jungle on an adventure. You can easily crochet the monkey using Yarn and Colors Must-have yarn. Order the kit for this adorable little monkey here!

This time, the theme will be “Christmas.” Be sure to mark this date on your calendar—more information about this Christmas spectacle, the amigurumi, and the designers will follow!
