Crocheting Flowers - Free Crochet Patterns
Stitches used:
l. = chain stitch
hv. = slip stitch
v. = single crochet
pc. = double crochet
dstk. = double crochet

Crochet Pattern: Flower 1
Crochet 6 sts. and join to the 1st ch with 1 sl st.
Round 1: 1 ch. Work as follows: *1 sc, 3 ch, 3 dtr. Insert the Crochet Hook into the chain loop and work 3 ch.* Repeat from * to * 3 times. Do not fasten off.
Round 2: * Insert your Crochet Hook into the loop at the beginning of Round 1, between the 1st and 2nd double crochets, behind the leaf, and work 1 stitch; chain 4.* Repeat from * to * 3 times. Do not fasten off.
Row 3: *1 sc in the st from Row 2, 3 ch, 8 dc in the 4-ch arch from Rows 2 and 3, 3 ch*, repeat from * to * 3 times. Do not fasten off.
4th round: * 1 stitch, inserting your Crochet Hook between the 1st and 2nd dc of the previous leaf, working behind the leaf, 5 ch.*, repeat from * to * 3 times. Do not fasten off.
Row 5: * 1 sc in the sc from Row 4, 3 ch, 10 dc in the 5-ch arch from Row 4, 3 ch *; repeat from * to * 3 times. End with 1 sl st in the starting sc. Fasten off.

Crochet Pattern: Flower 2
Crochet 8 sts in color 1, and join to the first chain with 1 sl st.
Round 1 (color 1): Ch 1 as 1 sc, then work 15 sc around the chain loop. Finish with 1 sl st in the 1st ch.
Round 2 (color 1): 1 ch. counts as 1 sc., 3 ch., skip 1 sc., *1 sc. in the next stitch, 3 ch., skip 1 sc.*, repeat from * to * 7 times. Finish with 1 sl st. in the 1st ch.
Round 3 (color 1): 1 sl st to start in the 3-ch arch from Round 2, 1 ch counts as 1 sc; work in the same arch: 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, and 1 sc; *In the next 3-ch arch, crochet: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, and 1 sc.*, repeat from * to * 7 times. Do not fasten off.
Row 4 (color 1): * 1 sc in the sc from Row 2, 5 ch behind the petal from Row 3*, repeat from * to * 8 times. Finish with 1 sl st in the starting sc.
Round 5 (color 2): 1 sl st in the 5-ch arch from the previous round, 1 ch; repeat *1 sc, crochet into the same arch; 1 hdc, 4 dc, 1 hdc, and 1 sc*. Repeat from * to * 8 times. End with a sl st in the ch at the beginning of the round. Fasten off.

Crochet Pattern: Flower 3
Crochet 6 sts in color 1 and join to the 1st ch with 1 sl st.
Row 1 (color 1): Ch 3 as 1 stitch, then work 19 stitches into the chain loop. Finish with 1 sl st in the 3rd ch at the beginning of the row.
Row 2 (color 2): 1 ch. counts as 1 sc., *1 ch., 1 dc., 2 dc. in 1 ch., 1 dc., 1 ch., 1 sc.*, repeat from * to * 4 times. End with 1 sl st. in the 1st ch. at the beginning of the row.

Crochet Pattern: Flower 4
This flower consists of two parts that are sewn together later.
Small flower:
Crochet 4 sts. and join to the 1st ch with 1 sl st.
Row 1: 1 ch. as a st. and 7 sts. in the chain loop. End with a sl st. in the first ch.
Row 2: 1 ch. as * 1 sc in the sc from the previous row, 5 ch. (to make 1 leaf), skip 1 ch. and crochet into the 5-ch. chain; 1 sc, 2 dc, 1 sc *, repeat from * to * 8 times, and finish with a sl st in the ch-1 at the beginning of the round.
Large flower:
Crochet 4 sts. and join to the 1st ch with a slip stitch.
Row 1: 1 ch. as a st. and 7 sts. in the chain loop. End with a sl st. in the 1st ch.
Row 2: 1 ch. as * 1 sc in the st from the previous row, 8 ch. (to make 1 leaf), skip 1 ch., crochet into the chain; 1 sc, 5 dtr, 1 sc *, repeat from * to * 8 times. Finish with 1 sl st in the ch. at the beginning of the row.

Crochet Pattern: Flower 5
Crochet 5 sts. and join to the 1st ch with 1 sl st.
Round 1 (color 1): * 1 sc in each ch. (=5 sc). End with 1 sl st in the sc at the beginning of the round.
Round 2 (color 1): Ch 1 before 1 sc, and 1 sc in the sl st in the same stitch; then * 2 sc in each sc from the previous round *. End with 1 sl st in the ch-1 at the beginning of the round.
Round 3 (color 1): Ch 2 for 1 hdc and 1 hdc in the same st., then * 2 hdc in each st. *, repeat from * to * 9 times (=20 hdc). End with 1 sl st in the ch at the beginning of the round.
4th round (color 1): Start the leaf by inserting the Crochet Hook into the front loop, * 3 ch., 1 double crochet in the same stitch, 2 double crochets in each of the next stitches *, repeat from * to * 5 times. Fasten off.
Round 5 (color 2): Single crochet the yarn at the back and in the center of a petal, and work into the back loop of each st. from Round 4. Work as in Round 4, but crochet three sts. The center is crocheted in a different color. Crochet a few v. in the center and close the ring. Pull the yarn through to the back of the flower using a needle.

Crochet Pattern: Flower 6
Crochet 6 sts. and join to the 1st ch with 1 sl st.
Row 1: 2 ch., crochet 23 sts in the round, and finish with 1 sl st in the 2nd ch.
Row 2: 4 ch., 1 dc in the same stitch as the sl st, 1 ch., * skip 2 stitches, then 1 dc, 2 ch., and 1 dc in the same stitch, 1 ch. * repeat from * to * 7 times. End with 1 sl st in the 2nd ch.
Row 3: 2 ch., 1 dc, 2 ch., and 2 dc again under the remaining 2 ch., then 1 sc under the ch. separating the 2 dc, * 2 dc, 2 ch., and 2 dc again under the 2 ch., 1 sc under the ch. * repeat from * to * 7 times. Finish with 1 sl st in the 2nd ch.
4th row: * 3 sts, 1 ch, and 3 sts again under the 2 ch from the previous row, 1 sc on either side of the sc * repeat from * to * 8 times. Fasten off.
