ByClaire Sparkle: Crochet a Kids' Cardigan

Crocheting a ByClaire Sparkle Kids’ Cardigan - Summer is coming, and that calls for summery clothes! After the summer top, a lovely shawl, and a girls’ top, we’re now moving on to a sparkling kids’ cardigan. Because we haven’t forgotten about the little ones either! Read on for the free pattern and get started with the new ByClaire Sparkle yarn.

Of course, we had to get started right away with the new ByClaire No. 3 yarn; this sweet little cardigan with soft glitter is the result! The cardigan is perfect for summer and can be worn over a T-shirt or a cute dress. The glitter adds an extra playful touch, and the adorable picot-edged trim really ties it all together.

The round neck and long sleeves are perfect for cooler weather, and the cotton base makes the yarn breathable. We chose a soft pastel blue, but Light Pink or apple green would also look great on this design! Plus, the pattern isn’t too difficult, so it’s a fun project even for beginner Haaksters. Are you up for it?

Please note: ByClaire Sparkle and Cotton are no longer available, but can be replaced on a one-for-one basis with Durable Glam and Durable Coral.

Which color will you choose?

Durable Glam 279 Light Blue
Durable Glam 229 Flamingo Pink
Durable Glam 2137 Mint
