Monique has incorporated several key features into this scarf: it’s fun to crochet, wonderfully warm (no more cold necks!), soft, comfortable, and you can wrap it around your neck twice (see photos). Plus, the scarf goes with any outfit thanks to its neutral color, and it has a playful yet chic look. The scarf is very warm and soft thanks to the luxurious Creative Soft Wool Aran yarn used. Crochet Pattern: Ruffled Neck Scarf

Tools & Supplies:
- 4 skeins of Rico Soft Wool Aran in color 4 (Brown)
- size 9 Crochet Hook
- size 10 Crochet Hook

Stitches used:
l = chain stitch
hv = semi-permanent
v = single crochet
hst = half double crochet

st = double crochet

Pineapple stitch: *1 yarn over, insert hook, 1 yarn over, and pull up a slightly longer loop* Repeat *-* 3 more times. Make 1 yarn over and pull it through the first 8 loops on the Crochet Hook; make 1 yarn over and pull the yarn through the last 2 loops on the Crochet Hook.

Relief double crochet: This is a double crochet that you crochet just like a regular double crochet, but around a different stitch from the previous round. So, you don’t insert the Crochet Hook into the top of the stitch (through the “v”), but around the stitch from the previous round. Insert your Crochet Hook from right to left, behind the double crochet from the previous round.
