Round 3: Crochet 2 dc in every 2the v (18).

Round 11: Make 6 decreases. Crochet every 8ste and 9the v together (48).
Round 12: Crochet 10 sc. Crochet 1. Skip 1 stitch and crochet sc to the end of the row (48).
You have now crocheted the hole for the Music Box's string.

Round 14: Crochet 2 sc in every 8ste v (54).
Rounds 15 through 17: Crochet 54 single crochets in each row (54).

Round 19: Crochet 60 v (60). Fasten off. Neatly weave in the ends.
Now attach a double strand of SUPER Charming yarn to the Music Box. Remove the handle from the Music Box and place the Music Box in the center of the bottom of your cupcake. Thread the cord through the hole in row 12. Now insert one of the two strands attached to your Music Box once through the bottom and back up one stitch. If you do this in the same direction as the stitches, it will be invisible from the outside. Now tie a button on the inside, securing it to the eyelet of the Music Box. Make sure the Music Box stays nice and flat against your work. This will keep the Music Box in place when the string is pulled. Set it aside for now and crochet the topping first.

Spikkels
Crochet with a 2.5 mm Crochet Hook and the Must-have minis.
Crochet a total of 3 speckles using Sunglow, Turquoise, Pesto, and Orange as follows. Make sure your starting and ending threads aren't too short, so you can use them to single crochet the speckles.
Crochet 4. Now crochet 3 double crochets in the 1ste l. Remove your Crochet Hook from your work. Insert your Crochet Hook into the 4the Chain 1 from front to back. Now pick up the loop from your last crocheted stitch and pull it through the stitch. Chain 1 more. Cut the yarn and pull it through. Tie a small button with the beginning and ending ends of the yarn against your speck. This will make it look like a little ball.
Now secure the sprinkles on the topping however you like. Leave the first six rows of your topping free for the whipped cream later. To do this, pull the starting and ending threads through your work, leaving one stitch in between. Tie a tight knot on the inside with the starting and ending threads, and don’t cut them too short. You don’t need to hide the threads any further, since they’re on the inside of your topping.
Assembling the
cupcake: Using a 3.5 mm Crochet Hook, pick up the last stitch from row 15 of the topping.
Go ahead and fill your cake with stuffing all around and on top of the Music Box. Also, put a little stuffing into the topping.
Attach the topping to the cake by inserting your Crochet Hook into both the stitches of the topping and the stitches of the cake. Insert your Crochet Hook into the cake from the inside out, and single crochet according to the following rows.
Round 16: Crochet 60 v (60).
Round 17: Crochet 2 sc in every 5the v (72).
Round 18: Now crochet a decorative border. * Crochet 1 sl st in the first st. Crochet 1 sc in the second st. Crochet 1 hdc, 1 dc in the third st. Crochet 1 dc, 1 hdc in the fourth st. Crochet 1 sc in the fifth st. Crochet 1 sl st in the sixth st*. Repeat *to*, until the end of the row. Fasten off. Neatly weave in all ends.
Whipped Cream
Crochet with a 3.5 mm Crochet Hook and Epic White. Because you’ll be increasing so much in each row, your work will naturally curl. If your work doesn’t curl, use a smaller Crochet Hook so you can crochet more tightly.
Round 1: Make a magic ring with 6 sc, or do it this way: Crochet 2 chains. Crochet 6 sc in the first chain. Crochet 1 sl st in the first sc to form a round of 6 sc (6).
Round 2: Crochet 2 dc in each dc (12).
Round 3: Crochet 2 dc in each dc (24).
Round 4: Crochet 2 dc in each dc (48).
Round 5: Crochet *1 ch-1 in the first dc, crochet 2 dc in the 2ndthe v*. Repeat *to*, until the end of the row. Bind off. Weave in the ends neatly.
Secure the whipped cream on top of your topping with single crochet stitches between the first two rows. Make sure the last few rows remain loosely curled.
Crochet a little candle
using a 2.5 mm Crochet Hook and ByClaire Sparkle yarn.
Round 3: Crochet this round in the back loops so that a few loops form on the outside of your work. Crochet 12 sc (12).
Rounds 4 through 14: Crochet 12 single crochets in each row (12). Fasten off. Leave a long tail attached to your work so you can sew the candle in place.
Fill the candle with stuffing and place it in the center of the whipped cream; secure it firmly with a few small single crochets all around.
Vlammetje
Crochet with a 2.5 mm Crochet Hook and Sunglow.
Crochet a chain of 7. Now, working along the chain, crochet 1 sl st, 1 hdc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st, 1 sl st.
Now crochet 1 stitch. Crochet back along the other side of the chain. Crochet 1 sl st, 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 hdc, 1 hdc. Crochet 1 stitch and finish with 1 sl st in the first stitch. Neatly weave in all ends. Now, using orange yarn, embroider a wick across the center of the flame and secure it with a few single crochets in the center on top of the candle.
Ball for the string
Round 1: Using pistachio or girly pink, make a magic ring of 6 sc, or do it this way: Crochet 2 chains. Crochet 6 sc in the first ch. Sl st in the first sc to form a loop (6).
Row 2: Crochet 2 single crochets in each single crochet (12).
Rows 3 and 4: Crochet 12 single crochets (12).
Row 5: Now thread the cord from the Music Box through the center of Row 1 and tie a button on the inside so the cord can’t slip out. Stuff the piece, then crochet the stitches together 2 at a time (6). Pull the end thread through the last 6v to close the hole completely.
