Special stitch:
Tulip: Crochet 5 double crochets, remove your hook from the loop, stitch it through the loop of the first double crochet, pick up the loop of the fifth double crochet, and pull them together with a slip stitch.
Tip 1: To make sure your circle stays round and doesn't turn into a hexagon, increase in a different spot each time, as long as you gradually increase by 6 tulips per round.
Tip 2: If your crochet work starts to pucker, it’s high time to stop increasing. Crochet one round without increasing. Then continue increasing where you left off. If your crochet work still puckers, crochet another round without increasing.
