Crocheting Egg Cups - Easter is almost here, so it’s high time for our annual Easter project! To add a festive touch to the Easter table, we’re crocheting cute egg cups in cheerful colors. Everyone would love to get an egg like this! Right? Read on for the pattern.

To crochet the egg cups, we’re using Yarn and Colors Must-have yarn. This cotton yarn is easy to work with, nice and soft, and comes in a very wide range of colors. To really get into the Easter spirit, we’re going with pastel shades, but the many vibrant colors make for a huge selection. So style your egg cup however you like!

- 1 ball of Yarn and Colors Must-have in colors 065, 074, 011, 042, 044, 038, 081, 052
- Stitch Markers
- size 2.5 Crochet Hook

used l. = chain stitches
hv. = slip stitch
v. = single crochet
pc. = double crochet
Crochet Egg Cup Pattern
Flower
, Round 1: Start with a magic ring of 12 sts, close with a sl st.
2nd round: 2 sc in each st (24 sc)
3rd round: 24 sts.
Round 4: Change to a different color. Chain 3, *skip 1 st., 1 sc, chain 7. Work 6 sc back along these 7 chains, starting in the 2nd chain from your Crochet Hook. Skip 1 st. from the previous round and work 1 sc, 1 ch.* Repeat from * to * 5 times. After the 6 sc of the last petal, join the round with a sl st in the 2nd ch of the 3 ch. Fasten off.
Round 5: Change to a different color and join a new strand in the 1-ch space between 2 sc, crochet 1 ch, *1 tr in the first 4 sc of a petal, 2 tr in each of the next 3 sc, 4 tr (14 dc = 1 petal), 1 sc in the 1-ch space.* Repeat from * to * 5 times. After the last petal, close the round with a sl st in the ch-1 space where you started.
Round 6: Make a slip stitch in each stitch. Fasten off.
Row 7: Finally, crochet a decorative edge using sl st around each st from Row 5.

Crochet 30 stitches, then join with a slip stitch to form a ring.
Rows 1–2: 30 sc.
3rd round: double every 5th stitch (36 sts)
Rows 4 through 5: 36 sc.
Rows 6–7: Change to a different color and crochet 36 single crochets,
Row 8: Change to a different color and crochet 1 chain, then 1 single crochet, inserting the hook deeper—that is, into row 6—then 1 chain, skip 1 stitch from row 6, and crochet 1 single crochet in the next stitch. Repeat this pattern: 1 single crochet, 1 chain. Fasten off.
Now use a needle and thread to attach the cap to your flower.
