Fantasy Bird - Activity Plushie - Free Crochet Pattern

Crochet a Fantasy Bird - The ultimate playmate in a baby’s dreams looks just like this fantasy bird! The bird has a cheerful appearance that makes everyone smile. The fun little toys on this Cuddly Toy provide hours of entertainment and help with your little one’s development! Will you join in and crochet a fantasy bird, too?

Our product line includes a variety of accessories that make baby toys and cuddly toys even more fun. These include rattle rings, teething figures, and teether rings. Our Haakster, Annemarie, has been working with the teething rings shaped like little feet and hearts. The teething rings are made of soft rubber (TPE) and are specially designed to encourage biting, grasping, and touching. The rings look great and meet European safety standards (they contain no harmful substances). The foot-shaped teething rings are available in 22 colors(!) and the heart-shaped ones in 15 colors. The teething rings are also available in a star shape. Check out all the teething rings and pick your favorites!

Annemarie researched the needs of babies and eventually crocheted this cheerful Cuddly Toy with lots of activities! The bird stays in place well, making it ideal as a decoration, too. The long legs are easy to hold onto, so you can take it with you wherever you go. The many toys and activities on the bird provide hours of learning and playtime fun. Your little one can bite and feel the textures of the teether rings, grab and feel the wooden rings, and enjoy the gentle rattling and sounds from the rattle beads hidden in the little tails. With this soft, whimsical Cuddly Toy, they can cuddle, grab, and feel different textures to their heart’s content. And finally, this bird makes everyone happy with its colorful look and cheerful polka dots, little tails, and tufts of hair! It’s also very convenient that the Cuddly Toy is machine washable up to 30 degrees! In short, the fantasy bird is the ultimate playmate for babies!

Crocheting a Fantasy Bird - Free Crochet Pattern

Tools & Supplies:

NOTE: Secure all toys and loose parts properly to ensure the Fantasy Bird is safe to play with. Also, check for wear and tear regularly after play.

Abbreviations used:
l = chain stitch
hv = semi-permanent
v = single crochet

Crochet the bird tightly so that no stuffing is visible. Use the Crochet Hook that best suits your crocheting style. Annemarie uses a 2mm Crochet Hook, but if you’re a very tight Haakster, for example, a 2.5mm Crochet Hook might also work.
