Who is Annemarie Huijser?
In 2015, Annemarie Huijser took up crocheting, and it was love at first sight. From that moment on, not a day has gone by without her crocheting. Her work revolves primarily around color. Through her Studio Hip en Stip, she has specialized in Granny Squares in recent years. A wise choice, as she can lose herself endlessly in combining colors. Her simple patterns are made special by her use of color. As she puts it herself: “I think a life without color is a shame.” And she excels at this, as you can see on her Instagram account. Annemarie’s cheerful crochet work mainly brightens up her own home and outfits, but she’s ready to win over the hearts of others with her designs. In early November, her first book will be released: Crocheting with Studio Hip en Stip. It’s a long-cherished dream, because Annemarie also loves beautifully designed books.
