Crochet a Heart for Mother’s Day - The sweetest mom in the world deserves to be spoiled, of course, and what better way to do that than with a homemade gift? This heart will also be a hit with your Valentine. Crochet this cute little heart and fill it with love! Want to know how? Read on!
We’re crocheting this little heart with love! Even though every day is a chance to spoil your mom, Mother’s Day is the perfect time to pamper her a little extra. We’re crocheting this small but precious heart with Rico Essentials cotton lurex; unfortunately, this yarn is no longer available in Red. A great alternative is a cotton yarn (for a size 2.5 Crochet Hook) such as Yarn and Colors Must-have, which you can crochet together with DROPS glitter thread. The white border, made with Durable embroidery and Crochet Cotton, looks just like lace and really ties the whole thing together. Since the heart is open on the back, you can slip a pretty drawing, a little trinket, or a personal message inside. Add a little love, and voilà—your heart full of love is ready!
