Hoooked RibbonXL Lurex - Free Crochet Pattern for a Copper-Colored Clutch

Crochet Pattern for a Festive, Copper-Colored Clutch

With this copper-colored lurex, you’ll naturally want to crochet or knit festive accessories. We’d love to inspire you with this festive crocheted clutch!

Tools & Supplies:
- 1 ball of Hoooked RibbonXL in the color Copper Wood
- 10 mm Crochet Hook
- Optional: carabiner
- Optional: faux fur pompom

The clutch is crocheted using the back loops (as described in the pattern).
We crocheted the handle and the clasp of the clutch. See the instructions below:

Handle:
A chain of 25 chain stitches, which you close with a slip stitch.
In each chain stitch, make a single crochet (for a total of 25 single crochets), then close the loop with a slip stitch in the first single crochet. Then fasten off. Attach the snap hook to the fishing rod and secure it to the clutch.

Closure/Button:
Crochet 3 chain stitches.
In the 3rd chain stitch from the Crochet Hook, work 2 double crochets.
Remove your Crochet Hook from the loop and insert it into the 3rd chain stitch.
Pick up the loop you left hanging and pull it straight through the chain stitch.
Crochet 1 more chain stitch and attach the button to the bag.
