Crochet an iPad case

Check this out—a super cool case for your iPad! It fits perfectly and is even decorated with a cheerful flower. But of course, it’s not just pretty—it also protects your beloved gadget from scratches. Want to crochet this iPad case? Check out the pattern now!

The pattern is pretty simple. You only use single crochets, and you make the flower using what are called "cross stitches." Good luck!

Tools & Supplies:

- Lana Grossa Cotton Mix 80: 3 Balls of color 15 and 1 Ball each of colors 520, 519, 509, 503, 501, and 505
- size 5 Crochet Hook

"Crochet iPad Case" Pattern

Tip: Can be used with any tablet—just adjust the dimensions.

Start with a chain of 35 ch. + 1 ch.

Rows 1 through 65: 35 single crochets.

Next, crochet another row of single crochets around the entire cover.

Fold the cover in half and join the sides with a slip stitch.

Make another loop of chain stitches on the back of the cover, and place the button on the front.

Finally, embroider the rose onto the cover using cross-stitch according to the pattern:

Cotton Mix 80 and 130
Cotton Mix 80 and Cotton Mix 130 are among Yarnplaza’s top crochet cotton yarns. A while back, they were voted the best crochet cotton, along with Phil Coton 3. Do you find the Mix 80 too thick? Then take a look at the Mix 130—this yarn is just a little finer.
