Crochet Animal-Themed Children's Slippers

Crocheting Kids’ Slippers—the season of cold feet is coming! At Yarnplaza.com, however, we know better; we’re always nice and warm in our crocheted slippers. But even the littlest ones at home want to shuffle around comfortably. Just for them, we’ve designed a fun pattern for animal-themed slippers. Check out this blog post and see how you can make them all by yourself!

Are slippers boring? Not at all with this Crochet Pattern! Kids love these dog-shaped slippers. They don’t get much cuter than this. And thanks to the leather soles from Phildar, they’re very comfortable. The soles are flexible, lined with synthetic suede, and have handy holes for threading your yarn through.

What do you need?

Material:
- Phildar leather soles
- 1 ball of Phildar Partner 3.5, colors 132 and 107
- 1 ball of Phildar Phil Frénésie, color 2
- Leftover black yarn
- Crochet Hooks sizes 2, 3.5, and 4.

Crochet Pattern for Children's Slippers

Sizes: 23/26, 27/30, 31/33

Stitches used:
ch. = chain stitch
v. = fasting
pc. = double crochet
rstk. = To make relief double crochets, crochet a double crochet in front of or behind another stitch from the previous row. So, instead of inserting the Crochet Hook into the top of the stitch (through the loop), you insert it around the stitch from the previous row. Insert your Crochet Hook from right to left, either behind or in front of the stitch, and then crochet the double crochet as usual.

At the end of each round, crochet a chain stitch.
