Starting piece for the handles

Round 1: Using a 2.5 Crochet Hook. Continue crocheting from where you left off (end of Round 37). Crochet 20 single crochets and 1 chain stitch.
Row 2: Using a size 3 Crochet Hook, work 20 single crochets, then 1 chain stitch.
Rows 3 through 10: Repeat Row 2.
Stitch it up.

Crochet the same starting section one more time, with 22 stitches in between from row 37. (See rows 1 through 10 above.) You now have 2 starting sections, each with 20 stitches, with 22 stitches on either side of each.

Handles

Using a size 3 Crochet Hook.

Round 1: Attach a strand of yarn to the left corner of one of the starting pieces and crochet 9 single crochets along the short side; continue crocheting across the 22 stitches from Round 37, crocheting 1 single crochet in each stitch; then crochet 9 single crochets along the other starting piece. Now chain 85, and join with a slip stitch in the first single crochet of this round.
Rows 2 through 8: Continue crocheting in the round without closing the rows with a slip stitch. Work 1 single crochet in each stitch.

Repeat this for the other handle as well.
Finally, finish off the handles with a slip stitch using color 68 and a 3.5 Crochet Hook
