Crochet Mini Wallet
Tools & Supplies:
- 2.5 mm Crochet Hook
- Small scissors
- Sewing needle with a sharp point
- Wallet fastener (The image shows a 6 cm fastener, which is unfortunately no longer available, so the best option is an 8 cm one.)
- 1 ball of Yarn and Colors Must-have Sunglow (13) or Larimar (62)
- 1 ball of Yarn and Colors Must-have Minis in Deep Cerise (34), Cardinal (31), Cantaloupe (16), and Peony Leaf (86)
Crochet Pattern for a small wallet:
Row 1: Using Yellow or Blue, make a magic ring of 6 sc, or do it this way: chain 2, work 6 sc in the first chain, then work 1 sl st in the first sc, so that you have a circle of 6 sc (6).
Row 2: Crochet 2 single crochets in each single crochet (12).
Row 3: Crochet 2 single crochets in every 2nd single crochet (18).
Row 4: Chain 1. *Crochet 2 single crochets in the next single crochet, then crochet 2 single crochets*. Repeat from *to*, until the end of the row, but end with 1 single crochet (24).
Row 5: Crochet 2 double crochets in every 4th double crochet (30).
Row 6: Crochet 2 sc. *Crochet 2 sc in the next sc, crochet 4 sc*. Repeat *to*, until the end of the row, but end with 2 sc (36).
Row 7: Crochet 2 dc in every 6th dc (42).
Row 8: Chain 3. *Crochet 2 single crochets in the next single crochet, crochet 6 single crochets*. Repeat from *to*, until the end of the row, but end with 3 single crochets (48).
Rows 9–11: Crochet 48 single crochets in each row (48).
Row 12: Make 6 decreases. Crochet every 7th and 8th st together (42).
Rows 13–18: Crochet 42 single crochets in each row (42).
Row 19: Chain 1. Crochet 20 half double crochets. Chain 1. Crochet 20 half double crochets (42).
Row 20: Chain 1. Crochet 20 single stitches. Chain 1. Crochet 20 single stitches (42). Fasten off.
Leave a long tail on your work for finishing. Open the clasp all the way. Tuck the beginning of row 20 into the small slit on the inside of the clasp.
Make sure to keep the slip stitch from row 20 on the sides of the closure. Now use the end thread to sew the little loop to row 20 of your crochet work. Also sew the other side to the little loop. Now sew through the eyelet on the side with 3 stitches to attach it to the slip stitch from row 20.
Tuck all the threads away neatly.
Leaf Crochet Pattern:
Using Green yarn, chain 13. Now, working along the chain, crochet 1 sl st, 1 sc, 2 hdc, 1 sc, 2 sl st, 1 sc, 2 hdc, 1 sc, and finish with 1 sl st (see also the diagram). Neatly weave in the beginning and ending ends. Set aside.

Crochet Pattern: Little Flowers:
Crochet a little flower using red, pink, and orange as follows:
Chain 10. Now, working into the chain, single crochet in the second chain from your Crochet Hook *1 slip stitch. In the next chain: 1 single crochet, 1 slip stitch, chain 2, single crochet in the first chain, 1 single crochet. In the next chain, 1 slip stitch*. Repeat *to* 2 more times (see also diagram). Fasten off. Leave a long tail attached to your work for finishing.

Now roll your crochet work into a little flower and use the end thread to securely fasten the rolled-up flower with a few stitches. Crochet two more little flowers. Securely fasten the three little flowers together on the middle two chain stitches of the leaf, and sew the entire flower arrangement onto one side of the little purse.
