Crochet Little Paintings for Mother’s Day - The sweetest mom in the world deserves a beautiful gift, of course. And how fun is it to spoil her with a homemade present? Get started on this “love mobile” and make sure you’re all set for Mother’s Day! Or declare your love to your Valentine with this work of art!
Mother’s Day is here again this year, and finding an original gift can sometimes be difficult. We’d be happy to lend you a hand with some inspiration. We’ll be working with bracelets and twigs, but of course also with balls of yarn and Crochet Hooks. Will you surprise your mom with this colorful gift?
Tools & Supplies:
- 1 ball of Yarn and Colors Must-have in colors 035 Girly Pink, 038 Peony Pink, 074 Opaline Glass, and 076 Mint.
- 1 ball of Durable Blossom, color 310 White
- Crochet Hook sizes 3 and 1.75
- 5-mm graph paper
- Bracelets: 7 cm in diameter (available at Action, among other places)
- Cut to approximately 37 cm and 32 cm, or use the 30 cm Trimits dowel
Stitches used:
- l. = chain stitch
- hv. = slip stitch
- v. = single crochet
- pc. = double crochet
Crocheting Mother's Day Pictures
The number of stitches you crochet for the bracelet must be divisible by 5.
The 1e and 2e The pattern is the same for every bracelet; just use a different color for each one.
Round 1: Crochet 80 single crochets around the bracelet.
2nd round: 80 sts.

Take a look at the bracelet with item no. 074 Opaline Glass.
Round 3: Attach a strand of yarn in color 076 Mint and crochet *1 sc, 4 ch, 4 tr with a yarn over*. Repeat *
4th round: Around every 4-ch gap, *3 sc, 2 ch, 3 sc*. Repeat *-*
Row 5: Finally, crochet 80 chains to the front loop of Row 2 using color 035 Girly Pink.
List O:
Add the bracelet in color 035 Girly Pink.
Round 3: Attach a strand of yarn in color 038 Peony Pink and crochet *1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc in 1 dc, skip 4 dc.* Repeat from * to *
Row 4: Crochet 80 stitches onto the front loop of Row 2 using color 074 Opaline Glass.
List V:
Add the bracelet in color 038 Peony Pink.
Round 3: Attach a strand of yarn in color 035 Girly Pink and crochet *2 dc, 4 ch, skip 3 sts*. Repeat from * to *
4th round: Join a new strand of yarn in the middle stitch of a group of 3 stitches using color 074 Opaline Glass, and crochet *1 single crochet, 5 ch., 1 dc in the middle stitch of the next 3 sts, but crochet this stitch behind the 4 ch., 5 ch., 1 dc in the middle stitch of the next 3 sts, crochet this stitch in front of the 4 ch.* Repeat from * to *. Finish with 5 ch.

Crochet with Durable Blossom yarn and a 1.75 Crochet Hook.
Start with a magic ring and crochet 8 single crochets into it.
Round 1: Double everything (16 sts)
2nd row: *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* Repeat *-* (24 sc)
Round 3: 1 sc, *2 sc in next st, 2 sc* Repeat from * to *. End with 1 sc (32 sc)
4th round: *3 sc, 2 sc in next st.* Repeat *-* (40 sc)
Round 5: 2 sc, *2 sc in next st, 4 sc* Repeat from * to * (48 sc)
Round 6: *5 sc, 2 sc in next st.* Repeat *-* (56 sc)
Round 7: 3 sc, *2 sc in next st, 6 sc* Repeat from * to * (64 sc)
Row 8: *7 sc, 2 sc in next st.* Repeat *-* (72 sc)
Row 9: 4 sc, *2 sc in next st, 8 sc* Repeat from * to * (80 sc)
Row 10: *9 sc, 2 sc in the next st.* Repeat *-* (88 sc)
Sew these small pieces of backing fabric to the backs of the frames using a needle and thread.
Embroidered letters:
Draw the letters "LOVE" on graph paper, cut them out with a little extra room, and pin them to the front of the backgrounds. Now embroider the letters using cross-stitches. Once a letter is finished, peel the paper away from under the cross-stitches.
Finish:
Finally, wrap the branches with the different colors. Crochet a string of Linen to hang it up. Attach the frames to the branch, finish with the smaller branch, and to top it off, make 4 more cheerfully colored tassels at the bottom of the branch.
